Healing Ministry

We believe in the Creative power to heal through all forms of natural modalities. We are Spiritual beings which have a mind, emotions and physical body.  The mind is not us   and is dualistic, both Carnal and Spiritual.  Carnal or unnatural, the good is for self and Spiritual or natural, the good is for others.  While we do not disbelieve in modern medical science,  we believe that, except in emergencies, other alternative health therapies or modalities might be a better first choice.  All things, as all seasons, have their time and place.  In Truth, all modalities are in fact, counsel***.  Our ministers will give counsel coming from the Spiritual by way of natural (or nature's) ways, such as, intuition, healing hands, herbs, astrology, numerology, graphology, tarot cards, palmistry, and any number of other modalities known to be in the Metaphysical and/or Para psychological realms.

 

We believe all things begin in the spirit then to the mind where a decision is made between carnal and spiritual, then to the emotions which then affect the physical.  There are numerous books on the market suggesting the emotions cause disease.  But the study of cause and effect leads us to the mind which stimulates the emotions.  The stronger the spirit the more apt the mind will choose the spiritual mind rather than the carnal and better health should prevail.  Even Hippocrates, is known as the "Father of Medicine" was quoted saying ... “A physician without knowledge of astrology has no right to call himself a physician."  When there is a lack of harmony, peace, lack of ease in the entity it is called dis-ease.  Should this dis-ease continue for any length of time it will out picture in the physical form in what is called a disease.  This is the reason that most modern doctors will admit that the best thing they can do in most cases is to put the body in a position to heal itself.

Scriptural Support

Since the majority of The Universal Light's members are more familiar with the Christian Bible, it was used for scriptural authority. However, Scripture from many religious traditions uses the words; heal, healing, and medicine!

From the New Testament book of Revelation Chapter 22: 1-3 (New King James Version) "And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.  In the middle of its streets, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore 12 fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month.  The LEAVES of the tree were FOR the HEALING of the nations…. and his servants shall serve him."

In verse 1 it clearly shows that the river of life, which symbolizes the healing power of God, proceeds from the throne of God and of the Lamb.  The throne of God symbolizes the authority of God, and the throne of the Lamb symbolizes the authority of the church.  The source of natural healing is the creative power of God, and the church shares the authority in dispensing and to mankind.

In verse 3 the writer says: through the help of natural healing which comes from the benefits of the tree of life, the curse of sickness would be lifted and his servants shall serve him".  We believe this means that God wants us to serve him by making natural methods of healing available to people through the gifts He has given to each one of us.  As the apostle Paul states in 1 Corinthians 12: 5-6:  There are diversities of ministries, but the same God.  And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

From the Old Testament the book of Ezekiel 46: 1-12

Our scriptural authority for believing that natural healing and natural medicine is in the domain and under the authority of the church and not in the domain and under the authority of any secular corporate or human government authority is found in our dynamic interpretation of Ezekiel 1-12.  Some have called this old method of interpretation the Preterits School of prophetic interpretation

In verses 8-9 the writer speaks of the same river and clearly shows that the river gives healing in life wherever it goes.  This river proceeds from the temple of God which clearly symbolizes the healing power proceeds from the church of God and isn't restrained by any human corporate or human governmental authority. The term “Natural healing” proceeds from the freedom of God and the church which represents Him.

 

Doctors and Drugs

​Here are some little known facts and figures we thought you might be interested in:

 

Today, the average medical doctor receives approximately 3 hours or less training on nutrition, (despite the fact that our bodies are constructed entirely of what we eat and drink).

 

Today's Doctor receives much of his ongoing education from what are called detail men. The detail man is the drug company salesman whose job it is to teach the doctor how to use the latest drugs.

 

Anyone taking a prescription drug will be harmed to some degree by these drugs. Did you know drugs are called drugs by the fact they are not natural. They are synthetic chemicals and toxic to our body. This is requires it to be registered with and regulated by the FDA as a drug. The FDA can only label a drug as such if they find it to have a certain level of toxicity caused in the body. Otherwise it is considered a natural food.

 

THE NO.1 CAUSE OF DEATH IN THE UNITED STATES IS PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

 

The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) recently reported that as many as 106,000 deaths occur annually in the US hospitals due to adverse reactions to prescription drugs that are properly prescribed by physicians that used them as directed by the drug companies. Even worse, the national Council for Patient Information and Education reported that an annual 125,000 deaths occur annually due to adverse reaction to drugs that the physician never should have prescribed. In these deaths the doctor did not follow the instructions on proper administration of the drugs.

 

Another article in JAMA estimated that only 1 in 20 reactions are reported. In truth, tens of millions are injured and an estimated 400,000 are killed every year by these dangerous poisons. The annual death toll from synthetic prescription drugs, both from the correctly prescribed and the incorrectly prescribed, amounts to about 231,000 deaths every year. To put this into perspective, this is the equivalent of a World Trade Center disaster every week for over a year and a half or the crash of two fully loaded 747 aircraft every day of the year. Consider this, drug companies profit from prolonging illness and addiction!

 

According to the report Death by Medicine, by Drs. Gary Null, Carolyn Dean, Martin Feldman, Debora Rasio and Dorothy Smith, the medical establishment kills 783,936 people in the United States every year. (http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2004/mar2004_...)

Those deaths include:

• 106,000 Americans killed from drug side effects
• 115,000 Americans killed from bedsores
• 98,000 Americans killed from medical error
• 88,000 Americans killed from infections
• 32,000 Americans killed from surgery
• 37,000 Americans killed from unnecessary procedures

The bottom line total comes to 783,936 deaths every year from "conventional" medicine (drugs and surgery medicine).

You are 6200% more likely to be killed by your doctor than by a shooter!
