We believe that everyone is a Spirit having a Human Experience

 


The Universal Light members form the largest inter-denominational congregation in the world. We believe that there is but one spirit. Everyone is a part of this spirit, so we all are connected.Our belief system is simple “Follow the Truth that lies within your own heart.” Ours is a spiritual, (not spiritualist) church without walls. Our members are not bound by the regulations  of traditional denominations (dogma). Romans 12:2 New Living Translation: “Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” We believe that the free will of everyone should be their guide to do what the Creator has chosen for them. We do not discriminate-male, female, LGBTQ and have members with many religious backgrounds- Catholic, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and others.

Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.

There are several paths you might choose- you can become a Deacon - acknowledging that you agree with our system. Deacons receive a free certificate. Or you might choose to become a legally ordained minister (with the full protection of the 1st Amendment of the Constitution) to serve others not only with prayer but also with officiating weddings, counseling, psychic readings, astrology, numerology, metaphysics, etc. Those who use Reiki, Healing Touch or other modalities which involve physical contact can have a special certificate to provide them with greater legal protection. Two of our ministers are consecrated Bishops of the American Independent Catholic Rite. TUL can provide educational opportunities to pursue all of these vocations as well as provide guidance to help you find the career best for you where you will not only love it but will be best for your own spiritual path.
